Different Weekend

The weekend is not yet over, and yet there are a lot of to-do's that stand struck out. This was a weekend with a stark difference to the previous ones in 2004. There was no partying, socializing and booze, instead I spent the past 2 days trying to equip my apartment with some basic necessities, including furniture and other items. The quest for a couch took me to one too many yard-sales at 7:00 am in the morning after sleeping for just 4 hours. I came back from the yardsales with nothing but the entire works of Micheal Crichton and a few others.
The weekend also took me hiking to Page 99 (i.e. a trail at the intersection of Kildaire and Tryon) on Chetna's hiking trail book. It was really a fun experience except that we got kicked out in the end for breaking the rules and walking down a slope which was restricted.
There is still the entire sunday left with me. Lets see how much I get done.
